Membership is open to mobile network operator firms of IBEC where mobile network operator means any person or company holding an appropriate authorisation issued by ComReg. The objectives of the group are: To promote the development of the mobile technology sector in Ireland. To represent the views of members to the public, local and national government, as well as to European Union institutions To develop contact with counterpart associations and federations at European and international level. To provide a forum for discussion on relevant issues amongst members. To issue policy recommendations reflecting the interests of the industry in relation to mobile operator messaging issues To bring together members for the purposes of a positive ethical ethos which reflects the sector’s corporate and social responsibility The members of MOMF are- Vodafone, O2, Meteor Mobile Communications and Hutchison 3 Ireland.
